Love is brewing with Brandy & Mike!

We were thrilled to help coordinate Michael and Brandy Murphy’s special day on September 3, 2011. The ceremony took place at United Church of Christ followed by a beautiful reception at the bride’s stunning family home in Bath, Ohio. The theme of the wedding was burlap and lace with Brandy’s special touch on EVERYTHING!  Everything about this wedding was so personal and I cannot even say how much I loved it.  Just some of the things the bride did for her wedding that we loved were the favor jars with coffee in them with the “love is brewing” tags, the pom pom’s inside the tent and bar area, the hysterical bathroom sign, and the wine cork escort card holders.  The bride’s best friend and bridesmaid, Genevieve Larson, owner of the Treehouse restaurant in Avon was responsible for the delicious meal. The bride looked stunning in her dress and we loved the pictures of her walking down her parents staircase just before her ‘first look’ with Mike.  Although the heat was insane for Brandy & Michael’s wedding, the day couldn’t have been more perfect and things cooled down just in time for lots of dancing!!

Quirky Fun Loving Couple Tie the Knot

Kristy and Ollie were one of the most likeable and fun loving couples I've had the pleasure of working with. Both were originally from out of town Kristy from Maine and Ollie from Alabama but they met and fell in love in Cleveland and work in artistic industries, Ollie is a glass blower and Kristy is a pastry chef. I knew their wedding would be fun and unique. Great touches such as:
  • Blue & Orange Converse Shoes
  • Pie Buffet instead of Cake with fresh scooped local ice cream
  • Hand Blown Glass Flowers made by the groom to accent the tables
  • Window Pane Seating Chart
  • Lobster Cake Pops for Favors
  • Pulled Pork for the Groom on the Menu
  • Henna for the Bride, just because it looks cool!
  • Custom Designed Printed Items by Bride's Sister

I think you will see that in the beautiful pics courtesy of Suzuran Photography!

A perfect blend of Jewish & Hindu Cultures!

Neeti and Alex were one of my favorite couples of all time. They are both attorneys in NYC and the bride is from Solon. We planned this beautiful wedding in just under 6 months. I love a challenge like that and I think we delivered on all accounts! It was a stunning blend of both Jewish and Hindu cultures with vibrant colors and bolt decor! Enjoy!

Mikaella Miller and Aaron Smith were a lovely couple to work with. They were married on 11.11.11 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel with a reception at Pine Ridge Country Club in Willoughby, Ohio. The date was very special to couple and all the other amazing couples able to get married on this special day.  The ceremony was traditional Catholic with a not so traditional reception to follow.  The reception had an enchanted feel with feather centerpieces and candelabras and a cake with an ice dragon made by About the Cake.  Aaron LOVED the cake and Mikaella couldn’t have been happier with her favorite band playing, the Boilermaker Band.

The wedding also had so fun features such as a photo-booth by Redeye Photo Booth and a warm bar, which was served later in the evening. The warm bar included hot chocolate, coffee, and cherry apple cider, which is the couple’s absolute favorite fall drink.
