Mardi Gras themed Wedding!

It was such a pleasure to be a part of Cassie and Jeff’s wedding day.  Cassie’s loving heart and eye for organization is going to make her a great doctor.  In the weeks leading up to the wedding this couple’s life was a whirlwind of changes with Cassie and Jeff moving back to Ohio and in to their new apartment in Downtown Cleveland as well as Cassie starting her residency at University Hospital.  You would never know how busy they had been because when this wedding finally got here it was all excitement and fun.

This Mardi Gras themed wedding at Windows on the River was a blast for everyone involved.  Everything was a buzz around this couples wedding reception as the Cleveland Rib Burn Off was going on just outside the doors.  St. Stephens Catholic Church was a perfect location for the couples ceremony with each of their sisters singing as a special part of the ceremony.  Cassie and Jeff were cool, calm, and collected, just having a great time all day long.  Even when the cake cutter broke while cutting the cake it just made for a great laugh.  Congratulations to this adorable couple!!

Some things we loved:

  • street sign table numbers
  • the Mardi Gras themed card box made by Cassie’s mother
  • amazing banana fosters dessert station
  • the gold chiavari chairs from Let's Entertain
  • Cassie’s beautiful makeup by the amazing JKelly Face Art
  • The amazing pictures downtown taken by Corey Ann Photography, especially the one in the back of the police car!
  • the adorable sweetheart table in the center of it all with candles placed perfectly behind them

I am excited to share these images from our October wedding at the Intercontinental with Phil Chester Photography, he is incredibly talented and very fun to work with. He was the perfect match for Jessica and Steve. Jessica called me soon after getting engaged to help her pull all the details together for their unique and personal wedding in October. I've had the pleasure of coordinating two of Jessica's cousin's weddings over the past few years and I am IN LOVE with their family! They even planned a special country dance for the groom, all around a wonderful group of people. We wish Jessica and Steve all the best!
